What is blue light?
Blue light is part of the visible light spectrum and has a short wavelength, which means it is a higher-energy wavelength. It falls in the range of 380nm-500nm on the visible light spectrum. Although blue light occurs naturally in sunlight, digital devices with illuminated screens also produce high levels.

Peepers blue light lenses filter more than 40% of high-energy visible (HEV) blue light in the 400-450 nanometer range.
