Schleich Triceratops Review:
Selected as one of the best Triceratops 2022 in one of the closest competitions. There are many nice Triceratops figures, this Schleich model checks a lot of the boxes and barely beats out the competition.Features that jump out on this figure are the texture, form, face, and paint. The texture is a rough scale texture with very good feel to the touch. One of the roughest textures of any of the models. Even the face has a good texture.
Paint is a nice brownish/tan, but the red highlights on the back, frill, and face are well applied. While they are a dull red, they really pop off the figure.
The face is one of the better faces. Nice looking beak, good details on the frill and horns have the best texture.
In terms of form, most of the other figures are simply standing. This figure is in a walking pose. Makes it unique.
This model is also on the larger size so it also has that going for it.
